Malini has served on the advisory boards for chief executives of some of the world’s largest multinational companies such as Hewlett Packard and Proctor & Gamble for over two decades. These include sectors ranging from consumer goods and banking, to finance, technology, minerals and energy.
 
She served on the Forum for Corporate Responsibility of BHP Billiton, the world’s largest mining company, for eight years; and on the Global Citizenship Advisory Board of the world’s largest personal care company, Kimberly-Clark, for six years, helping shape their leadership agendas on community engagement and sustainability.
 
She served on Unilever’s Sustainability Advisory Board for 10 years, joining before the advent of Paul Polman and helping shape Unilever’s globally influential Sustainable Living strategy. She was closely involved in a number of the company’s global initiatives, especially India – including helping launch Hindustan Unilever (India’s largest FMCG company) Swach Bharat Abiyan / Clean India Campaign with Bollywood filmstar, Kajol, in 2014.
 
Malini currently serves on the Global Advisory Board to the CEO of Tetra Pak, the global packaging giant, along with experts including Prof Dan Esty, Johan Rockstrom and Rachel Kyte.
